Nigerian Domestic Flights

Observed departures, arrivals & airborne aircraft across Nigerian airspace — reconstructed from ADS-B, not official schedules.

What are today’s Nigerian domestic flights?

The table above lists individual domestic flights observed over Nigeria — flights whose observed departure and arrival airports are both in Nigeria. View Today free — or, with a subscription, step back to Yesterday or any past date within your plan’s history window — then filter by status, airline or airport. Every flight shown here is reconstructed from live ADS-B signals received by the ADSBNG network — this is observed activity within receiver coverage, not an official airline schedule, timetable or punctuality record.

How ADSBNG identifies observed flights

Each aircraft continuously broadcasts its position, altitude and identity over ADS-B. ADSBNG’s receivers decode those signals and reconstruct each continuous flight as a “leg”, snapping the first and last observed positions to the nearest airport. A flight is counted as domestic only when both of those endpoints resolve to airports inside Nigeria. Status is derived purely from that endpoint evidence: Landed (both a credible departure and arrival airport), Departure detected or Arrival detected (only one endpoint is confident), and Unknown where the evidence is ambiguous. We never invent an airport or a status.

Domestic flight routes in Nigeria

The busiest observed corridors — such as Lagos ↔ Abuja, Abuja ↔ Port Harcourt and Lagos ↔ Kano — emerge directly from the flights observed here. For aggregate route rankings, airline activity and airport traffic intelligence built from the same observed data, see the analytics dashboard and airport intelligence.

Currently airborne aircraft

When you view Today, the Airborne tab shows aircraft observed by the receiver network within the last five minutes over Nigeria. A live aircraft’s true origin and destination are not yet resolved mid-flight, so these are shown honestly as “airborne in coverage” rather than as completed domestic legs, and they are never included in exports. For a live moving map of all traffic in coverage, see the live map.

Historical Nigerian flight activity

Subscribers can step back through previous days of observed domestic activity — the number of past days available is set by your plan. Any date’s observed flights can be exported to CSV or JSON for your own analysis. Longer history and bulk export are available on paid plans; see plans & pricing.
